I graduated summa cum laude from San Diego State University with a BA in Theatre Design and Technology with a focus in theatrical sound design. I have a decade of professional experience in sound design and mixing, as well as academic experience that collectively fosters my ability to write and research. I am currently a violist in nonprofit orchestras and the Historian for the Queer Urban Orchestra.
I am interested in exploring new career paths that use my unique skillset, like dramaturgy, book/lyric writing, and new play development consultation roles relating to psychology (I have an MA in Clinical Counseling and am a National Certified Counselor as well as a Certified Peer Support Specialist).
Highlights of my work experience include unique avenues of storytelling in places like the La Jolla Playhouse, MOXIE Theatre, Diversionary Theatre, and several other San Diego based theatre companies. I now reside in New York City. Most of my experience is in creating aural soundscapes for plays; however, I am music literate and have vocal and orchestral music performance experience.
I would love to work on new play development, reimagined classics, or revivals of shows that didn't get the recognition they deserved at the time because the world wasn't ready or they were of a particular underrepresented voice that prevented audiences from appreciating them.
I am an avid theatre goer of Broadway and beyond and would also relish the opportunity to write for theatre, be a critic, help write content for marketing, etc. I have an eclectic set of skills that makes me highly versatile and enthusiastic about engaging with theatrical material in new, interesting, and thought-provoking ways.

I also have experience creating and editing archival footage of theatrical productions.
